John Covans Logo Design
John Covan came to us years back for a logo design and corporate identity. There is a funny story behind the passing of this logo. The original logo was created by us in capital lettering in vector art, which was later converted by another design company to lowercase letters to make the name appear less aggressive. John wanted his actual signature incorporated into the logo so he came back to us to scan and vectorize it. The file we received was so poorly constructed, we had to fix it up before incorporating the vectorized and drawn signature. What did remain from passive designers was the coloring and offset paths we created originally.
The logo was used by us in multiple magazine ads as well as his custom built trailer from California Cart Builder that we wrapped. If you ever have the opportunity to meet John Covan you will have met a man of great character and a man whose story is as great as the company name Loring Studios came up with. (Remember that John!!)
Soused Alcohol Logo Design
This logo design was definitely a great project that we took pride in creating. The client wanted a retro logo design to brand their alcohol inspired concession company. Our logo designers brainstormed ideas for the logo and decided the best way to create the logo design would be in a label form so it could be used on various forms of media. Soused itself means drunk so it only be fitting to make the text a little bit tipsy. After choosing the right colors to correctly market the logo we illustrated a frame and border to the logo and an olive for the O.
The client was very happy with the logo design and when we finished, the vector logo design was burned onto cd and placed in a protective case for the clients use. You can get a logo design quote here.
Drake Trucking Logo Design
The logo we designed for Bill Drake Trucking is simple and minimal. Bill wanted a logo that had a strong typeset and was easy on the eyes. Trucking goes back many years and we wanted to incorporate that with the design.
This logo is on all of Bills semi trucks that can be seen driving across the United States. Whether you need a minimal logo or something more artistic our design staff can create the right brand for your business.
All Star Grooming Logo Design
In creating a trailer wrap for All Star we illustrated this logo for their company that showed they are a star company. The colors are bold and attention getting which is something that sports related logos need. We used traditional sports typeset to create the All Star name and surrounded the logo with stars. The swooshing of the logo represented action as if the logo was flying through the air.
