You might be one of the few local businesses that may or may not have a website to help bring you new clients. Well.. here is a little secret that might help you out. EVEN BETTER.. It's FREE! So, what is it? What can bring you some potential clients without spending a dime?

Dun Da Da... Google Places

With the Local Business Center you do some excellent things to let people know about your services:

Company Name Upload Photos
Company Address Upload Videos
Phone Numbers Select Categories
Company Description Get Reviews
Hours of Operation Create Coupons!

Here is how you sign up

  • Go to Google Maps
  • Click "Put you business on Google Maps"
  • Sign in or Create an Account
  • Click "Add New Business"
  • Enter your business information & Click "Next"
  • If it shows your business is already on there, click "claim listing". If it's not there, click "add listing"
  • Enter additional information and fill it all out. Be sure to include keywords relevant to your product or service.
  • Click submit
  • Google will ask to verify your account by sending a postcard or phone call. We suggest doing the phone call. (Watch out right when you click that button- it calls you!)
  • You can go back to Google Places at anytime and update your information, or create new coupons.

What now?

Let Google Places do the work for you. If you find that you are in a very low spot such as C D E compared to other local businesses, you can give us a call and find out what website services we offer to get your rating up.
